In Search of Ever After

Sarah Michelle Rupert’s photo-based work in In Search of Ever After draws upon media driven narratives and modern day fairy tales propelled by popular culture expectations. Referencing the usual suspects of children’s literature and popular films, Rupert questions the validity of these mass-marketed storylines as a base of comparison to contemporary realities.
