I am Woman, Hear me Roar, exhibition of Miami artists

Curated by Ombretta Agro and Kathryn Mikesell, I am Woman, Hear Me Roar, is an exhibition of diverse media from female artists living and working in the Miami area. Unrepresented by galleries, these 22 artist show the depth and range of work created in this tropical oasis, long known for its leisure and party culture rather than its cultural acumen.

Opening Reception: Friday, February 3, 2017, 6-8pm

Join curators and artists for the opening reception of I am Woman, Hear Me Roar. Installed at Wynwood Space, an commercial building for eclectic businesses, the exhibitions surveys over 20 Miami-based female artist working in an array of media including paint, drawing, collage, mixed media, fiber, print, photography and sculpture.

This event is free and open to the public.
 

ArtTable Brunch: Saturday, March 25, 2017, 10am

Join ArtTable as our members Ombretta Agró Andruff and Kathryn Mikesell introduce their first curatorial collaboration, the exhibition I am woman, hear me roar!, a survey of 22 unrepresented Miami based female artists.

The works in the exhibition celebrate the diversity in the woman who created them and the materials and medium used in their production and presentation. Artists Mira Lehr, Vickie Pierre, Donna Ruff and Sarah Michelle Rupert will present their contribution to the exhibition and speak about their artistic practice.
